Description:
Once known as “Groendruif”, this variety is making a comeback after having been not that widely planted for a number of years. This small thin-skinned green grape is thought to have its origins in France. It is also found in Australia and the USA.

Serve between 10° and 16° C

Colour:
Crisp, clear and bright when young turning a rich honeyed golden colour with age.

Aroma:
From a hint of citrus to waxy honey, crisp grass and nettles.

Flavour:
Crisp and lemon fresh with the occasional grassy character. Wooding gives it a more complex fatty flavour.

Pairings:
Pairs well with seafood.
